Technology alone will not deliver a low carbon economy but a low carbon economy will not happen without enabling technologies (ETs). Our study develops a method to help identify these key ETs and determine the optimal conditions needed to bring them to market.
Imperial College London’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Group leads Europe in its field. It is an interdisciplinary team that links Imperial College Business School with the faculties of Engineering, Natural Sciences and Medicine within Imperial College London.
We are creating a movement of businesses, academics and policy makers dedicated to realising a technology enabled low carbon economy in Europe. Together we are developing and refining a methodology to analyse any technology’s carbon abatement potential in any EU country.
